Big Sur - California Coastline

Looking north from the Rocky Creek Bridge the California coastline tumbles down the cliffs of Big Sur into the sea.

The cliffs are covered with succulent ice plant that privides a reddish cover for the crumbling rocks.

I climbed down the cliff a way to find this nice viewpoint. I spent some time there enjoying the wind, sea smells and taking a few pictures.

Somehow I always seem to end up on a cliff clinging to the edge, maybe that is just my lot in life... I did manage to come away intact and with a nice shot to show for my efforts!

This is a 68 megapixel image made from a number of frames of Canon 5D Mark II data shot with the 24-105mm lens.
