Blades of Grass

A tuft of meadow grass sparkles in the light of early morning by by a stream in the Rock Creek wilderness.

The lyrical quality of grass has always fascinated me, it is something we spend our lives walking on mowing or by and large ignoring.

I have always found the delicately curving blades, rich green color and subtle translucent textures to be something very special.

This photograph was taken on Kodak VPS 160 film with a 127mm lens using a Mamiya RB67 camera.
