Overhanging Oak

March 30 - 2009

A beautiful view from the first level of the McCorkle Plateau trail in Sunol Regional Park.

The sun was very cooperative this day and gave me the kind of lighting that turns a deep landscape into a magical festival of layers and levels.

Here I have a good 5 different level of depth depicted in my image. I find that if I get to 5 I am well on the way to having a good landscape.

This is a 10 megapixel image from a Nikon D200.
