Looking Down from Dade Peak Approach

The first time I came to Little Lakes Valley we climbed all the way up to the Treasure Lakes at the base of Mt Dade.

The view looking down into the Little Lakes Valley was just wonderful!

The partial clouds gave the scene a good sense of depth while the color of the meadow and the lake served to define them as the center of interest.

I have altered this photograph to give it a more painterly quality and it was tremendously successful.

This photograph was taken on Kodak VPS 160 film with a 127mm lens using a Mamiya RB67 camera.

This master was processed with Corel Painter to give it a painterly feeling.

Offered is a limited edition 24x31 gallery deep wrapped print on canvas for $350.00.
