Dantes View

The valley was a tinderbox. Hot and very dry. We went to the higher elevations to get a little cool air and while it was 10 degrees cooler it was still oven-like.

I am not much of a desert person. I more tend to the higer elevations where water is abundant and snow is a possibility. Not so in this case :) I was here and it was hot, hot hot!

Most all my square images are made from 3-4 frames of data so they have 20-30 megapixels of resolution.

This larger print is a box mounted 16x16 on smooth fine art paper edition number 11/250.  The smaller 8x8 is the same presentation in an open edition.
