This is an interesting area, sort of like a mystery house... Looking at the picture you get a feeling of looking s;ightly down on a tree and hills, in rality the camera is pitched steeply down at maybe 50-60 degrees. This is how I ended up with the dense shadow behind, we are looking at the bottom of a steep hillside and ravine.
